BIBLICAL "headship"

A reply to a letter from a friend of an abusive husband who claims his abuse and control-freak demeaning bullying is “biblical” because “God said man is the head over woman”…

“Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and head of Christ is God.” (1Cor.11:3)

ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES, AND THIS VERSE ABOVE:

If Jim…If Jim wants to be a CHRISTIAN “head”—then he EITHER has to prove that Jesus (“the head of man”) bullies, controls, orders around, manipulates, threatens, insults, screams at, demands to be served, and tries to dominate “the man”—and that GOD (“the head of Christ”) bullies, controls, orders around, manipulates, threatens, insults, screams at, demands to be served, and tries to dominate Jesus……. OR HE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING A HEAD THE WAY THE BIBLE DEFINES HEAD! He can be a Muslim “head” in Iran (Watch “Not Without My Daughter”) the way he’s doing it, but if he wants to be a Christian, “HEAD” is defined CLEARLY as “doing it like the Father does with Jesus” and “like Jesus does with the man.”

And GOD does NONE of that ego-centric, controlling, bullying, threatening, insulting stuff that Jim does. So, Jim needs to quit pretending he is doing a “Christian” thing and place membership at a Mosque if he wants to be that way. Not to mention it’s against the law for him to control or threaten or abuse her over her “religious liberties.” The piece of paper from the fake clergyman does NOT give him the right to treat her like his “property.” That is SO pathetic.

Jesus, God the Father…all BIBLICAL “heads”……WOO. They do NOT bully, control, browbeat, insult, and threaten. They “court.” And the response that those under “headship” make is their own responsibility between them and God. When they are not being called to violate their conscience or Truths about Jesus and His Ways and His People, then they should be very agreeable and “make it a joy and not a burden.” However, when asked to violate their TRUE Head, JESUS, in whom “ALL authority in heaven and on earth” is given, then “Judge for yourselves whether it is better to obey God, or man.”

Jesus, God the Father…all BIBLICAL “heads”……WOO. CHRISTIAN “heads” do NOT bully, control, browbeat, insult, and threaten. They “court.” On matters of Truth, they simply appeal to conscience, and RESPECT others’ consciences. Nothing else is Christian or Biblical.
