Beyond Your Wildest Dreams (Narnia)

Excerpt from track 10

The dragon sneered in disrespect and spat its words in frustration, “You cannot save them every time;  i will catch You sleeping and then i will have my way! It will be the end of them all; they are all weak without having You to guard them.  You will not always be there.  I have plenty of time to discover all of their weaknesses and destroy them!”

The Lion’s mane flowed as the wind stirred once again.  The fire in Aslan’s eyes pierced the dragon’s glassy glare. . .

“Have you not been told that I never sleep?  I will always guard those who are mine and their strength is rooted in knowing this. I only permit you to live and invade their world so that they might learn to fight against my enemies along with me; that they might taste the infallible victory of their oneness with me.  you have no other purpose and you cannot ever defeat those who have learned these things in MY Presence and upon such Truths bind themselves together.  Now be gone from my sight!

And he raised His paw off toward the horizan where the dragon had no choice but to take flight and flee.  For in the end despite its threats and disruptions, it was nothing more than a created being bound to the dictates of the Ever Reigning King.
