Foolish Behavior
...I am not being partial, except, as the Captain of the Lord’s Host said, “NAY. I am on the Lord’s side.” And trust me, you DON’T want to violate Jesus, His Commands, or His representatives because of discomforts you have undoubtedly endured. That would be as lame and foolish as the denominational world’s view that all things are “horizontal” and there is nothing “Supernatural” really at stake. The little guys who just made remarks about “Baldy” and were struck down by God, and many other “examples for our learning”—including Ananias and Sapphira—speak volumes of how God works today, as well, in the Real Church-world.
Anyway, all of that to say: Don’t mess around here with personality stuff and desires and horizontal opinions and preferences. Take the time and do this RIGHT, because of Him. Otherwise, it’s ALL just a game, and it doesn’t matter WHAT you do. It’ll just be man’s stuff and result in what happens to man’s stuff. The REAL thing is ALWAYS tried by fire, and you are facing that now.... the Cross that is ESSENTIAL for the Real thing. Jesus didn’t say, “If you believe what the Bible says, FINALLY—you are good to go.” He said, “Unless the seed falls to the ground and DIES, it abides alone!” You all must die, or nothing else you do will matter one whit.
And of course that’s true for them, as well. But, that’s not your problem right now. Your problem is you. Will you “fall to the ground and DIE,” “LOSE your life that you might find it”? Or, is this just about more religion, further rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic?
